Hi everyone! In case you aren’t on our Facebook fan page, thought I’d share that today through Monday there is a 10% off coupon code on all our listed items!  That is on top of free shipping. What a great way to get a deal on a handmade gift, right?

Come on over and see what we have. Custom orders are of course still welcome, and if placed by Monday, still get the discount too.

I just added a page to our site with our 2010 events to come.  The schedule isn’t yet complete, so be sure to check back, but it has at least June and July, unless we add even more.

Come on out to see us, we often have new things that aren’t online yet, and original art that you just can’t see as well online.

A few months back Nate started a new project. He has been painting and decorating glass balls, like for hanging in windows and such. We love how they came out. We first called them Faerie Balls. But at the many snickers and giggles this name sometimes leads too, we are now wondering. Do they need a new name?

We don’t have many pics of these (more to come), but Ashley took us some great ones, and there is one of lots of them hanging together, just for an idea of how they look. Comments are very welcome, we would like to have this decided by next weekend. Thanks!

I’ve long been obsessed with all things Celtic. And I’m a Cancer (sun sign) so of course, the Moon and I are long friends. So this one is no surprise 😉

Hymn to Arianrhod
By Janet and Stewart Farrar

Arianrhod of the Silver Wheel
By all the names men give thee –
We, thy hidden children, humbly kneel
Thy truth to hear, thy countenance to see.
Here in the circle cast upon the Earth
Yet open to the stars – unseen, yet real –
Within our hearts give understanding birth,
Our wounds of loss and loneliness to heal.
Isis unveiled and Isis veiled, thou art;
The Earth below our feet, the Moon on high.
In thee these two shall never be apart –
The magick of the Earth and Sky.

Her name means Silver Wheel. This is often taken to mean the Moon, or the Wheel of Rebirth. Some of her stories can be found here.

The centerpiece on this necklace is called a druzy. I can’t quite capture how sparkling and magical it looks in picture, but the surface of it is covered in small crystals, reflecting colors and light all around.   With it are blue coral, shell, blue lace agate, opalite, ice flake quartz, labradorite, dumortierite, and white agate.  Again, hard to catch in photos, but if you’ve never seen labradorite in person, you need to. It is like a captured rainbow. It looks grayish in the pics, but reflects colors in light and is just beautiful.  This one also has a special magnetic clasp, with crescent moons on it, fitting to Arianrhod.

Please know that the pictures are as accurate as possible, but the exact items may have slight variances due to lighting etc in the pictures. I try to show as many pictures as I can, in various lighting, to present a full picture of the items.

I’ve been fascinated by Faeries all my life, not just the cute and sparkly, but the dark and tricky too. And Shakespeare’s Titania is one I love. I especially loved that though she is light and beautiful, she is, well, not morally like us.   Much like any Faerie, even a Shining One, there is a touch of dark, or just different that we will never truly understand as just plain simple humans. This piece was made to honor that. The light and beautiful, with just a touch of darkness on the edges.

This focal was one I just happened across and fell in love with. The two stones atop if are just slightly colored, though it doesn’t show well in the picture, the left side is a blueish tone, the right a purple. Though I’m not sure, I think this is a slice of a geode.  It is surrounded by amethyst,  adventurine, shells, mother of pearl, opalite, Czech glass, moss agate, ice flake and rose quartz, flourite, and Swarovski crystals.

I’ve included a lot of pictures, since the pendants colors seem much different in changing light.
